I am reaching for the goal of black belt. I am so very close now. This Kata, Bassai Dai, which means “to storm a fortress”, is one more goal, helping me to reach nearer to that ultimate goal of black belt.

What would I tell someone who is reaching for a goal, but it seems so hard and even sometimes impossible?

Life has disappointments and frustrations. Keep searching to find a way. Sometimes waiting is necessary, (that’s hard too) and always keep praying. Keep persevering. Keep faith in God, because the truth is, He cares. He says, don’t worry, because He will take care of everything.

This verse explains this well for me:
Isaiah 41:10 says, “fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God, I will help you, I will strengthen you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand”

I hope to help others reach their goals in martial arts. I also, want to help others know about God, as I am reaching for the Spiritual goal everyday- to follow Jesus.

” I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus”. Phil. 3:14

  1. Isaac. Keep persevering in trusting God. Fight the good fight of faith. Keep telling others your story. God saved you at birth. God saved your soul. God promises that as we persevere in faith, we are blessed. Trust God’s Words to you. And tell others about Jesus and their need for Salvation.

God has given you this gift of Karate. Use it to bring God glory. Telling your story. The difficult journey, and God’s great love that will never leave or forsake His children.

    I love you very much.
